"That's the best 100 French movies ever. This ranking was obtained from 18 individual rankings of critics who write or have written for IMBD cinema (you will find their names at the end of the League). The photographer charts the taste of a movie crew (with its own particularities, his tastes in common ...) also determined by belonging to a generation (the majority of the electorate was born between the mid 60 's to mid 80) and history (that of cinephile who ate in a more or less evident by Nouvelle Vague). Certain periods are over-represented (years 60 and 70), other wrongly underestimated (silent movies were almost ignored). Esteemed directors elsewhere are nearly absent (Carné, Sautet, Blier, Malle, Clouzot ...) and recent enthusiasms were catapulted into a very high position (two movies in 2013 tickling the podium).
